Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED — JULY 21, 2026We run a copydesk, not a data brokerage. This page explains — in plain English, the only kind we publish — what information reaches us, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
Who we are
Launch Headlines is an editorial-led press release writing and distribution service. We write, copyedit and distribute press releases for clients, and we operate this website at launchheadlines.com. When this policy says "we," "us" or "the desk," it means Launch Headlines. You can reach us any time at hello@launchheadlines.com.
Information we collect
Less than you'd expect. Specifically:
- Contact form details. Our contact form composes a message in your own email client — the details you enter travel from you to us as ordinary email, when you choose to hit send. We do not run trackers, analytics cookies or advertising pixels on this site. There is no hidden byline here.
- Information you email us. When you write to the desk, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, company and the details of your announcement.
- Press release content you submit. To fulfill a package we receive your brief, drafts, quotes, boilerplate, images and video — the raw material of the release itself.
How we use it
Two purposes, and only two:
- Fulfilling your package. Writing, editing, distributing and reporting on your release — the work you hired us to do.
- Correspondence. Answering your questions, sending proofs for approval, and delivering your live-link report.
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for. A newsroom protects its sources; we consider clients to be at least as important.
Sharing
Our distribution partners receive the press release itself — that is the product, and publishing it is the entire point. What they never receive is your account details: your contact information, correspondence, billing details or anything else you shared with the desk stays with the desk.
Data retention
We keep correspondence and release materials for as long as we need them to service your package — including revision rounds, distribution, reporting windows and any credit validity period on your account. After that, we keep records only as long as ordinary business and legal obligations require. Ask us to clear the morgue file early and we will, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@launchheadlines.com with the request and we'll handle it promptly — no forms in triplicate, no runaround. Depending on where you live, local law may grant you additional rights; we honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Third-party fonts and CDN scripts
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and its animation library from the cdnjs content delivery network (operated by Cloudflare). When the page loads, your browser requests those files directly from those providers, which means those providers see the ordinary technical details of any web request — such as your IP address — under their own privacy policies. We chose these services because they are fast and unremarkable, not because they profile you, and we add no tracking parameters of our own.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page — the newspaper way of issuing a correction. Material changes will be summarized plainly rather than buried in legalese.
